Cost

Medicare, Medicaid, and many private insurance policies include coverage for home health care and in many cases, services are provided at no cost to the client. Whitesboro/Pilot Point Home Health is fully certified for reimbursement by Medicare and Medicaid and accepts assignment of benefits.

Under Medicare guidelines:

• Care must be intermittent (part-time), medically necessary and ordered/approved by your physician


• The patient must be essentially homebound--meaning trips away from home must be infrequent or of short duration.


• Because it has been proven that your spiritual well bing is important in your overall health status, Medicare recently approved leaving home for religious services.


• The patient's condition requires a skilled need.
